More than a mother, a friend.

My mother did not have an easy life. She grew up poor and living with a variety of people. Some were welcoming, some were not so welcoming. She showed me the true meaning of class and character when she helped take care of a family member who growing up was not there for her. She showed me the power of forgiveness and love. I am a better person because of her. A I attribute all that I am to her Southern, Old School upbringing. She knows me better than I know myself… and she has always believed in my ability to succeed. She supported me even when she did not agree with my choices or decisions. Classy, Loving, and Cool. That is my mother, my sister, my friend.
